Seminars specific to the 2 different aspects of the Tourism industry – Leisure Tourism & Corporate Tourism. How has technology impacted the industry? What are the emerging technologies and how to incorporate them into your organisation? How can Tourism Organisations use technology to promote a better experience for tourists from the moment they land? How does MICE technology impact the corporate travel experience and how can it improve your corporate events? How to manage and secure the large amounts of data in the MICE industry?

These topics aim to address the white elephant of technology changing the tourism, travel, and MICE landscape. It will be short breakout sessions to keep the industry up-to-date and prepared for the inevitable advancement of the industry.

Singapore MICE Forum (SMF)

Established since 2011, the SMF 2017, organized by Singapore Association of Convention & Exhibition Organizers & Suppliers (SACEOS), will be held from 27 – 28 July alongside Tourism Technology Asia to add the element of technology to the line-up of events. As a strong platform for the MICE industry, SMF aims at maximising innovation within the industry by addressing the skills and knowledge gaps via professional development and training. Key issues are discussed, industry ideas are exchanged, business and networking opportunities are created. This year, Tourism Technology Asia will complement the Singapore MICE Forum with a technological showcase of MICE related technologies that will enhance the MICE experience.

1-2-1 Asia Business Meet

The 1-2-1 Asian Business Meet is a hosted buyer programme organised by SACEOS which brings together hand-picked MICE buyers and invitation-only suppliers for strategic one-to-one meetings, results-driven networking opportunities and dynamic team-building exercises – all focused on fostering long-term relationships with major Asian MICE players. The 1-1 Asian Business Meet brings together pre-qualified buyers from Europe, North America, Asia and leading Asian suppliers of meeting and incentive travel for one day of pre-arranged, one-to-one meetings and non-stop networking connecting some 200 – 300 industry players with international buyers.

This year, the 1-2-1 Asia Business Meet participants will also get to see the innovative technologies and solutions that support not only the Tourism but also the MICE industry at large.
